In the hotel, what would be the outer sides of the luxury liner, make up the one hundred and sixty rooms. The center of the boat-shaped building is open to the sky with a patio in the middle. The rooms overlook the patio in which is an outdoor, tile swimming pool. Atop the building’s seven floors is a terrace. The ten-year-old hotel is part of the answer to the need for modern hotel facilities for the island’s tourists. Adequate lodging facilities have been the greatest problem in attracting tourists to the island which is the only soil of United States visited by Columbus.
